Degrassi?
Did anyone ever watch "Degrassi JR High" or "Degrassi High"? I saw part of the new "Degrassi" last night. I can't really picture Snake as a teacher but whatever. I wish they had just done a reunion instead of a new generation... Thoughts?

Holy crap, I used to watch Degrassi all of the time. They have a new one?!? When is it on and what channel is it on? I'd like to see how the show has changed/stayed the same.
Have a nice day

OMG...Snake's a teacher?
I used to watch Degrassi Jr. High/Degrassi High when I was in middle school. I think it used to be on PBS...
Wow...I remember when Joey and the guys started up that band... when one of the twins got pregnant.... and Mr. Radich (sp?)...how he followed the kids to the new school after theirs had the fire... Funny how all of this is coming back to me now.

The new degrassi is on CTV, not sure when. It can't even compete with the old school degrassi, these guys started at what, grade 5 on degrassi street? That became degrassi jr. high and then degrassi. One thing's definite, the budget stayed the same for that show over the years. I think i saw joey wearing his 'rat a ta ta' shirt until he was 18.

I can't believe while reading this thread I was able to remeber the band Zit Remedy's ona and only corny song? You kno, "Everybody wants something they'll never give up." Let me stop now.

The Zit Remedy's Here!
I was such a Degrassi fiend... I tried watching the new series, but I don't know, I guess I'm too old or something, because the new kids bug me (I really, REALLY don't like Emma). I keep hoping that one of the Canadian networks or PBS will bring back the classic series, but I don't suppose I should hold my breath.
I was so surprised to see that Joey Jeremiah has thinning hair! That was the one thing from the reunion movie that made me feel positively ancient. And who knew that Spike would turn out to be the best looking out of all the kids?

There is also going to be Degrassi on Noggin now. I've never seen it so I don't know if it's the old one or a new one but going on what types of shows noggin airs it might be old. So, if anyone gets nice cable (we have digital so lots of extra channels) you can catch it there too. As a side note they also show clarissa explains it all. I remember then i though that show was so cool.

Degrassi is going to be on tonight (Friday, April 5th) at 10:00pm. I don't remember what channel but if you flip through your preview guide or whatever you should come across it.

All this talk about the Disney channel reminded me of another favorite from back in the day. DEGRASSI! I still haven't seen the new one, unfortunately....I don't have digital cable, so I don't have the N.
Anyway, the best episode by far was when Claude (Clowed) killed himself. Gosh, all those episodes were great.

I loved Degrassi Jr. High and Degrassi High. I want them to bring back the old-school shows. I had such a crush on Joey Jeremiah.
