Relationship between No-Frills Recruitment and Skit Night

Hi everybody! At my school, we supposedly participate in No-Frills Recruitment, but there is a $900 budget cap and also a Skit Night on the third night of Recruitment week.

As a smaller chapter, we are hoping to get Skit Night changed to some other informational party. To do this, we need to have examples of other schools who have gotten rid of Skit Night and substituted a different kind of night in its place. Any information or suggestions?

My school's recruitment schedule is:


Day 1-Philanthropy Day
Day 2-House Tours
Day 3-Preference

In the 1990's (before I went there), I'm pretty sure there were skits performed during House Tours. Girls would spend 20 minutes getting food and going on a Tour, then the skit would be in the last 20 minutes.

When we stopped doing skits, they were replaced with sisterhood videos or slide shows. Each sorority makes a video slide show of their sorority and events. They're all really heartwaarming and show the PNM what the chapter is like.
