I love my Alpha Gam sisters!
Sisters,
Thanks for being patient during the GC outage. I received emails from many of you regarding the outage, and I'm glad that it's up and running again. Thank you to John for getting it back up! We really appreciate it. Also, thank you Nina for passing along the information to the alphagam.net community about the outage.
It is my sincere hope that you and your family and friends and sisters are okay and well. My deepest sympathy goes out to those who have lost a loved one. You can rest assure that you will be in my prayers.
As if this week hasn't been difficult enough, my family was faced with my grandfather's passing on Wednesday. He had a stroke about a month ago and he had also been ill for a long time, so while his passing was expected, it's hard to accept the fact that he's gone. He's been there since I was born and he's been one of those people you think would live forever just because he lived for so long...
I feel terrible that I bailed out of Round 3 during Recruitment. Luckily I have wonderful Delta Sigma sisters that offered to look over things for me. It's times like these that I thank GOD that I'm an Alpha Gam.
So now I humbly ask for prayers not for me, but for my family. 2001 has been a very tough year with my uncle's passing in early May, but I know that this will only make the family stronger.
God bless you all and God bless America.

My heart goes out to you!
I know that this is a very difficult time. I just wanted you to know that I am thinking and praying for you here in Georgia.
Also, I wanted to thank you and your chapter sisters for their thoughts and prayers for the Gamma Tau sister at the Pentagon, who thankfully is okay.
Loyally,
Lynn

My prayers go out to all the families effected by this tragedy! I know Maria and I had family involved and near the Trade Center, and this past week has been stressing to say the least. Sandy, I am also sorry to hear of your loss.
With Love,
Leslie

Sandy (and all my GC sisters),
God bless you and your family. I am praying for all of you. I know how difficult it is to lose a loved one, and my heart goes out to you.
I finally just got back onto GC after several days of it being down and it's taking about all the self control I have not to break down and cry. It has been a long time since I've cried so hard and prayed so much. My family, thank God, is safe and uninjured. Others I know have not been so lucky. One longtime family friend on the 106th floor is missing. A childhood friend of mine has a fiance who is a firefighter, and he is also missing.
God bless the victims of this horrible tragedy, and bless their families with some measure of peace. God bless our leaders with the wisdom and judgement to know the right thing to do. God bless us all, because only He knows how much we need His help and comfort. And may God forgive those villains who have the blood of thousands of innocent people on their hands---because I know that right now, I can't do it, and I don't know if I ever will.
Loyally, Maria
