Greek merchandise PHYSICAL stores
Do they exist anymore? Any left in CT? There used to be one at UConn but as far as I know it's gone.
I already searched here, and googled, and just can't come up with the right search combo for * greek merchandise sorority store *.
Thanks in advance.

We have been discussing this in the 'Speaking of inappropriate nalia' thread in the DST forum.
I can tell you with certainty that there are two brick & mortar Greek stores in DC/MD and that the Howard University bookstore has an extensive NPHC section.

The University Shop on Route 1/Baltimore Avenue in College Park, MD

Husky Greek is still above the head shop (as far as I know).
If I had the $$$, I would start up a Greek store myself. Between, UHartford, UConn, QU, CCSU and such, there is a market for it.

I used to say that all of the time, but change that to South Carolina.

There's a ton of 'em. As I said in another thread, I've got two in my small town in Central Arkansas, and one or two in Fayetteville.

There are two of them in Gainesville. There used to be a third one, but it has disappeared since I moved away. There is a bookstore in Tampa that sells some Greek merchandise as well. Not sure about Tallahassee, but I can imagine there should be at least one.

As mentioned, there is The University Shop on Route One in College Park, MD. They have a very nice selection.

In Tallahassee, we have the FSU Greek store near the football stadium. It's really small though and you mainly order the clothing items through them.

We have two greek stores within minutes of the school, which is surprising because our Greek population is not that big.
There's Campus Book & Supply that's mainly a bookstore, but it carries all of the little gift things (that one might find @ GreekGear/Greek101) that we use for Bid Day, Big-Little, etc. It also carries wooden items for paddlemaking.
We also have Kent Outfitters who does Greek clothing. The guy who owns it has been in the area for years and he's great. They do everyone's shirts, hats, bags, etc. This store gets alot of business from other NE Ohio schools like Akron and Youngstown because it's the only Greek clothing store in the area.

When I was in college, I shopped at several different Greek merch. stores. There was one by USC called Greek Escape, one by UCLA called Fraternity Row (I think this one may have changed names), and two by U-DUB (Dawg House, and I can't remember the name of the other).
