I was reading in "Psychology Today" mag. and it was saying that a new study reveals just how strong our preferences are for the taller-man-shorter-woman duo. Researchers found that only 23% of men would consider dating a woman taller than they are. Women were even bigger snobs.

Only 4% were open to breaking the romantic tradition.
I think there may be a thread on this, but I was posting this one because I honestly think most women would date a shorter man if he had copious resources. A prime example would be Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes/Nicole Kidman.
I prefer taller regardless, but would you go shorter if he had a great personality and a little money (lol). Guys, would you date a woman that was taller than you?
I wish there was a way we could get a % bar going on this one.
