McNabb Leaving Philly? Possible...

IMO...probably one of the biggest mistakes the Eagles could make...

Super shuffle? McNabb, Briggs swap makes sense

Was the recent drafting of quarterback Kevin Kolb a sign that the Philadelphia Eagles might trade Donovan McNabb before the 2007 season?

That's one theory, anyway. As for a possible destination, the Chicago Bears are ready to win the Super Bowl. They might have won it last year except for a glaring weakness at quarterback.

Seems flaky - it's not good return, value-wise, and McNabb's contract status is eminently reasonable for his position and skill set (even if he's only a 12-game player at this point).

Don Mckee wrote the column for the Inquire and he is a hack. He is just speculating in the column. The Eagles already said the piece was garbage. That being said Kordell McNabb is overrated. The Eagles got better last year with Kordell went down. The previous year the teams winning percentage under Mike McMahon wasn't much different than the percentage under Kordell and McMahon didn't have Westbrook, Owens or a healthy line. Three years ago when Kordell was hurt Koy Detmer/aj Feely went 5-1. Kordell is due to make 9 million next year and he is history.
