Exclamation Sticky situation. Help Sorors!

Hi Sorors. Houston we have a problem...
So I'm getting married next month. One of my friends has been outted as a PERP of this great organization!! I tried in a round about way to ask her about her intake process (I just couldn't fathom that she would do such a thing) and ultimately things just didn't add up

Several of my LS's and other Sorors will be in attendance for my big day. How should I approach her about coming clean!? I will just fall on the floor (Yes gown, veil, and all) if she gets up there to sing the hymn with My Sorors!!! And some of them already know the deal and may not respond in a very sisterly fashion. I mean she and I go waaaaay back so I don't want to be ugly about it. Any suggestions????

Sticky Response

Your title is correct. Honesty is always the best policy. Sit your friend down and let her know that when the hymn is sung she can not join the circle. If she loves you she will respect your wishes so she won't ruin your day.

Is the maid of honor also your soror? If so, let her do the dirty work. Or any other AKA in the wedding party. You really shouldn't have to. (In my opinion....)

On a related note, I'd like to PM an AKA about another possible perp situation. If you are from the midwest (Ohio) and are familiar with any Spring 04 MIP happenings, please send me a PM for more info.

She is violation of the code of Sisterly conduct and risks her membership into any Sorority and also possibly being sued by the Sorority.

If you don't want it to be ugly handle it yourself, just tell her she can not sing with the sorors od do anything related to AKA. If she is resistant and affirms she is a member ask for her card. It sounds harsh, but if you let other sorors do it (especially at the wedding) things may not go too well.

Tell her that you love her regardless, but she needs to respect you and your big day.
