What is it that you do/want to do for a living? Hopefully, this can be a place for alums and actives to give and get professional advice.

I'll get the ball rolling.

Currently, I'm a law student in a part-time evening program. During the day, I work at my father's law firm. I'll be getting my intern's license next year. If anyone has any questions regarding law school applications, the LSAT, etc., I can definitely help with that.

Since graduation I have worked in the technology field (ISP, and e-Health) the whole time.

I was a technician, NOC technician, senior technical advisor, support manager, and product manager for an ISP - for 7 years before we were bought out by a Japanese telecom company which then did wholesale layoffs.. Opps, I mean "reduction in force".

At this time I am a manager of a small support dept. that handles an e-prescribing application. Our product essentially allows doctors to send encrypted prescriptions to pharmacies. We're banking on it blowing up in the near future with recent HIPAA regulations.

Currently a Marketing student at UCF, but will be transferring to the business school at the University of Cincinnati this summer.

I've already interned at Time Warner Cable and the House of Blues, both at marketing related positions. I'd like to get into the creative aspect of marketing - ad campaigns etc rather than sales, but you gotta start somewhere I guess.
