Apology

To the entire Online Greek Community,

On behalf of the sisters in Chi Omega, I would like to extend my sincerest apologies for all the problems, threats, and hate that has been expressed on this chat board.

As a member of the Chi Omega Fraternity I want to remind you what we stand for.

Friendship - To be lovable rather than popular.
High Standards of Personnel - To be womanly always.
Sincere Learning and Creditable Scholarship - Scholarship before social obligations.
Community Service - High purpose and helpfulness.
Participation in Campus Activities - In the best sense to be democratic rather than exclusive.
Career Development - To choose thoughtfully that course which occasion and conscience demand.

To be a Chi Omega is an honor and a privilege. We thank you for your support and words of encouragement.

If you should ever find yourself or your GLO/BGLO in need of assistance, you can be sure the ladies of Chi Omega will be there at your side.

Hon, it's sweet of you to apologize, but, HONESTLY, you and Chi Omega have absolutely nothing to apologize for. Y'all have always conducted yourselves as ladies on GreekChat, even when being baited and criticized by people who obviously don't have the sense God gave a goat.

I TOTALLY agree. The ladies of Chi Omega have nothing to feel bad about. All of you that post on here are total sweethearts. It's just too bad that you and everyone else on this board have been harrassed by a certain schizophrenic person. Never fear...the ladies of Chi Omega will always have my love and support!!!!!

I feel the same way as Carrie and Allison. The ladies have nothing to appologize for and it really is unfortunate that this certin person put you ladies through this drama. You guys have always had my support since my college days. I have the most respect and admiration for what you ladies stand for and how you handled this ordeal.

Chi Omegas--

Y'all have absolutely nothing to apologize for. I feel certain that if the "member", and I use that term loosely, had pledged another group she would've gotten dissatisfied with them for some stupid reason and mounted an attack-- in other words, it could've happened to any of us. And you certainly don't have to apologize for the mom's behavior--she's an adult too and is making a total ass out of herself on her own! She could've handled this maturely but we know what happened and it's due to no fault of XO.

So...don't worry! We all know what has unfolded here in the past 6 months or so!

I hate to be redundant, but I have to say, well said Hootie. And Much Greek Love to everyone that hasn't let a bad apple ruin the cider (as my granny would say).

I have to offer a huge apology to every one, I feel like this mess is partly my fault, even though all I did was speak on behalf of my chapter. I'm sorry so many of you have been subject to threats and harrassment.
