News from the Lynchburg College Colony

We were just approved to be installed as the newest chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma! Of course, this is contigent upon the fact that we have 35 women ready for initiation, but I am fairly confident that we do (or are VERY close). This was the weekend that they were making the decision whether to approve the installation or possibly disban us and our leadership consultant left this morning still with no decision made from exec. At 9:15 we recieved the good news!

Congrats. I'm a charter member from the Eta Rho chapter in Savannah, GA. I know what you are going through. Just take it all in and it will be something you will always remember. Congrats again.

What will your chapter designation be? Eta Upsilon?

Yes, we'll be Eta Upsilon unless Parkside is, for some reason, installed before us. In that case we'll be Eta Phi. Right now we most likely will have to wait until after spring recruitment because we will not have the 35 prior to that necessary for initiation according to nationals. I'm sad that we have to wait so long but glad to know we made it.
