Question to all Sorority members
Out of curiosity, how many members have a brand or would like to to have one?

Speaking as an NPC girl (it said ALL sorority members) I would never ever ever in a million years want one. The pain, the chance of infection, and I personally think that they are not attractive at all.

I'm very pro-body mod, but I'd not get a brand. Personally, good practicioners are very few and far between, and if I'm getting any sort of mod (be it ink, piercing or whatever), I want a professional with a good solid portfolio of work to do it. Not that I don't love my sisters, but I'd not want either of them to be holding a hot poker to any part of my body.

I don't want my letters ever associated with something painful. They're worth more than that. Plus we have rules about what you can do while wearing letters. How would someone drink at a bar with their letters branded?
NPC POV, but no way in hell.

LOL...you don't even drink DF.
I would never brand my letters. I don't think I would even tattoo my letters.

No way. I would never get a tattoo or brand of anything, let alone sorority letters.

as an old broad, i have no desire to get one; however when i was young and dumb i considered it.
two older girls in my chapter have small brands (they were seniors when i was a freshman), but no one from my generation has them... but several from my line and later years have tatoos of letters or symbols "inside" other artwork.

Um...ow.
Tattoos hurt a little, but I can't imagine the pain of a brand. I'm very pro body-mod too.

GROSSSSSSS....
I can't imagine doing that, especially since scarring can be so erratic, it would be hard to say what a brand would actually end up looking like after it fully healed. Add that to the fact that burns are so horribly painful and prone to infection, I would never ever ever get one.
I heard there was a porn star with her sorority letters tattooed on her butt...I think she's a Tri-Sigma? I don't think I'd be too pleased if I were a member of Tri-Sigma nationals!!!

I have very sensitive skin that scars a lot anyway, so I don't think a brand would work out so well for me. It would probably look *horrible*.

Why liken yourself to cattle?
Have many tattoos but would never get my letters inked.
