AAHH!! I'm so nervous

In the following weeks I'm going to be initiated as an associate member into the organization that I'm interested in, and then I will be starting my MIP but I'm soooooooo nervous. I know that this is going to be a LONG and HARD process and I am terrified. Is there any advice you can give me to help keep me calm? Also, what helped keep you motivated when your process got really hard?
