Looking for a vendor for custom polo shirts
I need to order some custom embroidered polo shirts. I can get them made locally, but we're supposed to go through a licensed vendor.
There are PLENTY of outfits that will do a T-shirt, but has anyone had a good experience with a licensed vendor that produces good quality embroidered polo shirts? Turn around time is eight weeks or less.
Any ideas?

moved to greek life forum because it seemed more appropriate and the thread will get more hits (so you can actually get an answer!)

Hrmm....Lemme talk to my brother, his Phi Tau chapter got really kick-ass custom polos for one of their chapter anniversaries. I've been wanting to get some for my chapter too, so I'll do some hunting and get back to you.

Does your fraternity's website have a listing of your approved vendors?

Approved vendor list
Yes, there is a list of approved vendors, but there are perhaps 50 of them! I would like to narrow the field a bit. If I get a name or two here then I can compare them to the list and see if they are approved.
It was so much easier when I was an undergrad. Find someone near the campus, get a bid or two, and then do the shirts. Now we must use only the approved vendors and they all seem to be in the east, save for one.

We would always do what golf tournaments and country clubs do... Buy a certain number of shirts from a good company, ie, Polo, VV, Brooks Brothers, and then get a modest sleeve logo embroidered. I always liked it better because I could wear it more generally than I would if it was like a bigger chest-pocket location logo

Sam's Club - we ordered shirts for the alumnae panhellenic and they turned out quite nice. Provided artwork over e-mail, paid and picked up at the warehouse.
