How to make time...
Hey... Well, it's mid-term week and I'm soooo stressed out. I have so much studying to do and I am trying to keep up with sorority business and other activities. I feel like I can't balance my time. And to top it all off, my friends that are not in my sorority are given me problems about not making time for them. What should I do to make time for everyone and everything?

First and foremost, good friends will NOT give you crap. With that said, it's imprtant to make time for your other relationships in life. Everyone needs to eat so maybe suggest dinner or lunch a couple nights a week.
Also, as far as school and sorority, school is your first priority. You're in college to get an education. One thing that's important to remember is that (as much as you want to) you can't always go to every social, mixer, date party, or sisterhood activity. If you are up to your ears in school work, it may be neccessary to pass on some of these things til you get your workload under control.

It also helps to communicate to the chapter that it's a crisis week for you. One of the things the AGD VP Scholarships have to do is a crisis calendar, where all the members put their tests/papers/major projects on a master calendar and when they're planning events, they avoid planning things when the calendar is very full for a lot of members. If it is midterms, most of the other sisters are probably feeling the crunch too.

Time management is very hard. Get a calendar, a GOOD one, make a schedule, and stick to it. Don't let your plans change so easily, if they do. Take a day that you spend just with non-DZ's and then take some time later in the week to hang w/ your big or pledge sis or whatever
Also, don't forget to study. Good luck with midterms, I'm sure you'll do great and everything will work out.

Unplug the internet!!
If it's mid-term week, you should be studying instead of being online and making social arrangements with Greek and/or non-Greek friends.
Invite your non-Greek friends to study with you this week and chat about some future plans.
The sorority will still be there, with plenty of social plans, when mid-terms are over. You don't have to go to everything, so don't stress.
Good luck on your tests!
ETA: I sounded harsh when I originally posted, and that's not at all how I meant it!

Study for your midterms and put everything else on the backburner.
Only you will be held accountable when it is test time.

The only post that made sense.
You are in college to study, make grades, take tests and pass!
So guess what You should be doing?

We used to have a saying at school: "Classes, sleep, friends - pick any two."
Time management isn't easy. But your priority right now has to be getting through your midterms and doing well. You're in college to learn and earn your degree, first and foremost.
Put the sorority business on the back burner for a bit, and pick it up when you're done with your midterms. If it's midterms week for you, it's probably midterms week for many of your sisters - so hopefully they'll understand if something slips for a few days.
As for your other friends, if they are true friends, they will understand that you're busy this week and that you can spend more time with them next week, but right now you're swamped.
