Oh, its not about your thing, thats great for yall. After clicking the link I started reading the school newspaper, which prompted my response.

While I don't think your comment was appropriate or necessary, I looked at the newspaper too, and I understand (I think) what you're talking about. I was really surprised by some of the content of the paper; everyone is pretty careful here to keep things like the paper politically neutral (which for us is mostly to keep the Republicans in check).
If some of that was in the school newspaper here, it would be a scandal of epic proportions (and the College Republicans would eat us all alive ...).

Yea, I guess I understand what you mean. Here, however, we're pretty free to write anything we want in our paper. There are a couple of strong conservative opinion writers in our paper. They weren't in that issue, though. Take a look at some back issues and you'll see what I mean. I think our paper is pretty good, though. The administration doesn't censor it as much as other schools. And when people get upset, they usually write counter-editorials. Free speech...it's beautiful.
