What is Beta Sigma Phi?

I guess I am a visitor from the Beta Theta Pi forum and there are about twice as many posts in here. I've never heard of Beta Sigma Phi and was curious to learn more about it.

Beta Sigma Phi is an international women's friendship network, with chapters in 30 countries. It was founded in 1931 as a way for women to support each other during the Depression, and we have expanded tremendously.

We are a community sorority, meaning that a member doesn't necessarily have to be in college, or have gone to college, to join.
