Sorors, why is it soooooo hard to find a man? I just recently broke off a relationship with a guy after three years. I am now back in the game of dating. I went out with a guy a few weeks ago and we had a wonderful time. He said that he enjoyed himself and would like to go out again. It has been several weeks now and I have not heard from him. I have called him and when I do he always seems excited to hear from me. However, he never calls me! Am I being petty, or should I just stop calling? Please give a sister some advice.

Finding a man depends on where you look and kind of if you are looking at all. I let God do the match-making and concentrate on living for Him first. He will provide our needs and some of our desires. I am dating a wonderful, Godly man that I wasn't looking for at that time.

I know what it is like breaking off a long term relationship also. If the person you are now interested in isn't reciprocating, perhaps it's a sign that it's not meant to be.

Seek the Lord and He will direct your paths.

I have come to two conclusions when it comes to men:first, what is meant to be, is meant to be and recognize the "flags" when they pop up. By that I mean, those little things that pop up in a relationship and we say to ourselves "he'll change or things will get better." It's not going to happen. If a man is truly interested in being with you, he'll be with you. Whether there is war going on or not (i.e. work schedules, family life, friends, other ssocial/community committments). Relax and let it flow. When it's your time, it's your time. Trust that!
Your Mr.Right is out there, be patient.

Thanks for the replies. What you guys said is so true. Sweet Deliverance, I am going to take your advice. I have been trying to live for God, and so many other things that I have wanted and desired have been given to me by Him. I quess I just need to have patience.

The answer to your question is in YOUR head, and your heart. Maybe you haven't quite got over your last flame, and this brutha you went out with picked up on it. There may be nothing wrong with you-except you may be blind to the fact. Then again; maybe the brutha is genuinely interested in you-but busy. You need to find out directly from him before moving on.
