A perp story...
Hello ladies of Zeta Phi Beta...
I have a funny story. I attend collge in NYC where a lot of city pledging is done. There is a Bronx chapter of ZPhiB where I know many of the members. Okay so I walking one day and I see two ladies with Zeta shirts on walking with my friend. So I say hi and ask them if they were with the Bronx chapter which their answer was yes, they just went over, so I congratulated them. Okay I happen to see the chapter president at a party and mention these two women by name (since they said that they just crossed spr. 1998) The Chapter prez never heard of them. As a matter of fact there wasn't even a line there for spring 1998!! There were only 5 members of the chapter and she never heard of these ladies. My School is big (around 10,000) so these perps were running around and no one noticed them.
So The Chapter prez asked me if she could tag along with me the day I was scheduled to see these ladies. The looks on their faces was so funny when they were confronted. They didn't know what to say. What was said to them pushed them to the point of one of the young ladies crying her eyes out all the way to the subway...
Why would you want to "Fake the funk" if your not really a member? I just thought I would share...
I guess like they say "Membership has it's privliges!! (I know I spelled that wrong! *smile*)
