Miami of Ohio

Recruitment starts today!!

I know they changed the format of parties -ie the women release less chapters after OH then they did in the past.

I don't know anyone going thorugh but there are about 820 women registered.

That's it? Wow, numbers have definitely dropped off. When I was there, there were probably 1200-1500 registered every year. ADqtPiMel can hopefully fill us in later.

Yes. although that is after the grade release which usuallly cuts 100+ women out of the system. Also enrollment is lower this year.

Once again rush is broken up over two weekends which makes for a looooong wait.

They changed the drops...instead of going 17-12-6-3 it now goes 17-10-7-3. I think this will effect everyone because everyone will assume they are doing better in the 10-7 release...then going into pref there will probably be some sad chapters and some sad pnm's....but hopefully the new release figure program keeps everything rolling in the right direction.

Although a shorter wait than the three weeks that recruitment was my senior year.

I think there are 823 after grade drops. There were 950ish registered before break. I've heard quota is estimated in the high 30s.

I've always wondered how Delta Zeta does in formal rush at Miami of Ohio. It's our Alpha chapter; in continuous existance since 1902 and many consider it to be the jewel in our crown (excuse the ZTA reference there, lol!)

Please post any news you may hear

I agree, we started using them at my alumni campus as well and the results this year were amazing! It's so nice to not hear about 20 girls dropping out after pref night cause cuts were so hard or to hear about girls running out of the union in tears.
