Question Dream Job Interview!! HELP!

Hey Everyone! I had an exciting phone call the other day from a woman who found my resume on monster.com. (My resume is not very good on monster)She wanted to set up an interview with me on Wednesday. She is from a conference center in Nashville, and this postion is my dream job. Its a conference coordinator/sales manager position. I WAS going to move to RI to get my masters to be more competitive in the field that I want to go into, but this is an awesome opprotunity and I would be able to network with TONS of business people within the SE.

So, what to take to the interview??? Right now I have my very polished current resume, 2 letters of recomendation, a list of past projects(school and organizations) and my role in them, a reference information sheet, and my business card. It is all in a black polished folder with my business card in the inside. They are all in consistant type face, color, and paper type. I am bringing 3 of these.

Is this enough? She gave me a description of the position, and have made sure to cover all the "required" things in my resume.

Any advice? I would appreciate it!

Thanks you guys! Oh yea, I have never had an interview with a woman before.... anthing I should do differently?

congrats on the interview! sounds like you are pretty much prepared for it. it's hard to say how women will be in an interview. she may be very welcoming and try to make you feel comfortable or she may be very professional and expect you to act comfortable. there are so many different ways to interview and you just never know what to expect.

i imagine she will ask you a lot of scenario type questions....describe a situation where you had to handle a difficult customer/client and how was it resolved? how well do you handle confrontation? are you able to resolve conflicts? i've planned conferences before and worked on many conference committees and, from the conference site end, it requires a LOT Of customer service skills, patience, follow up and organization. be sure to have plenty of examples ready. think of those bad times and how you got through them (even if it wasn't perfect, give that example and tell what you learned) and those perfect situations and what it made so perfect (good customers, you were prepared, etc).

just a warning...and you probably already know this......working in this field is very time consuming! it could be difficult to work on a master's while doing this work. make that one of your questions.....i am planning on starting my master's degree at ABC University. do you feel it is realistic for me to take 1-2 classes per semester with this job?

good luck! sorry this turned out kinda long.
