What did you do for Memorial Day?
Well?? What did you do??
I watched the local parade since my dad and his Civil War troop were marching. I then went to a memorial service at a cemetary in which I played "Taps" while dressed in a Confederate uniform Funny thing is, everyone else was in Union dress

And I can't call in sick on Mondays
when the weekends been too strong
I just work straight through the holidays
And sometimes all night long
You can bet that I stand ready when the wolf growls at the door
Hey, I'm solid, hey I'm steady, hey, I'm true down to the core
And I will always do my duty no matter what the price
I've counted up the cost, I know the sacrifice
I got to enjoy my Memorial Day (and yesterday, too) wearing the uniform of those great heroes that have gone before, remembering their sacrafice and hoping that no more American Servicemen will have to be added to the list.

I drove to Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetary to place flowers on my mother's grave.
I was turned away at the gate because they were holding some memorial day event.
I'm not against honoring veterans and those who lost their lives - but I was really disappointed that I wasn't even allowed a couple of minutes to put flowers down for my deceased mom. I had even brought an extra bunch of flowers to place on a random war veteran's grave. Both sets of flowers wilted on the hot car ride home.

Took a few minutes to remember those alive and deceased who fought for our country. Put together a display of the Flag of the United States. Attended a Renaissance Faire.
God Bless Our Service Men and Women.
Thank you, Docet Boy for your service.

I stayed up for around 50 hours going from Fiji to New Zealand, back to Fiji, to Los Angeles, and then back to Chicago.

I went tanning, went to two cookouts, and then went to a hookah bar. It was the best day ever.
