This is not a "spam email." I am new to this message bored, but wanted to let other brothers know about a great new fundraising idea that our Alumni Chapter has come across (we were actually told about it by another chapter.)
The website
www.cafepress.com allows organizations to design logos and have them placed on merchandise. There is no overhead or fee of any type. Once the logo has been designed, the chapter can set the "markup" price, which is a price over the "base" price. Our chapter has set a markup of $5.00 on all merchandise. Once any brother buys anything, we are automatically credited the $5.00. There is no "middle man" or anything of the sort. The brothers simply order their merchandise and it is sent directly to them. Its a great fundraiser.
