What supplements do you take?
And why (if you want to answer)? Are you trying to prevent certain diseases? Or, are you using them as an alternative to conventional medication for a current condition?
I take magnesium, vitamin b12 (100 mcg), and l-lysine.
I take magnesium whenever I'm feeling super anxious and wired. It really helps me fall asleep when I can't. It is like a natural sleeping pill.
This isn't really considered as a supplement, but I try to drink at least a cup of green tea a day. I've heard that it could help to prevent cancer. I don't think one cup is enough, but it won't hurt. I've also heard that it can help fight bugs. I drink an extra cup if I've been around someone sick or eaten something from a sketchy restaurant.

Calcium, Vitamin B12 shots or nasal gel (sometimes both), and sometimes iron.. due to malnutrition/malabsorption due to Crohn's Disease and surgeries related to same.

I think most of us take a good multivitamen. I also take Preservision.
If ANYONE in your family has macular degeneration, you can arrest its growth by taking Preservision, and a vitamen with lutein.

Pre-Natal
Even though I am not pregnant, I take a pre-natal vitamin everyday. My doc says since I am in my childbearing years that it wouldn't hurt. It's made my nails stronger and my hair shinier.
Not to mention, it has 67% folic acid, which is essential for women. More than a mulitvitamin has.

I'm staring to take B-compex which my neurologist said might help reduce my Migraines. We'll see! I sure hope it works!
I try to take a good multi-vitamin but they seem to make my stomach upset.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a vitamin I can take for energy? I sleep a full 8-9 hours and I still feel dog tired throughout the day. When I get home I have to take a nap and I'd rather be working out or doing something productive.

3 redbulls, works like cocaine. You could also take Ephedra pills you can buy at convienant stores.

You'll want to make sure you don't have any heart issues (or other health issues) if you're taking either of those. An irregular heartbeat can be thrown for a dangerous loop if you're packing on the red bull or ephedra.

I feel ya. I tore my rotator cuff and my doc prescribed me lorcet for the pain till it healed a bit. One night I took the lorcet after I healed a little bit and thought I could hit the gym back up but I was feeling a little tired....so I took 3 Ephedra pills. Goddamn, man, I worked out like a demon at the gym. But by the time I got home I started getting all hot and my heart was beating as fast as Jenn Lopez goes through husbands. My skin was turning blushy. Honestly, I started getting scared. I stripped down nakked, turned on the shower as cold as it could get and just stood there with ice cold water pouring on me for about 5 minutes. After that I was fine. I was freaked out, seriously. I thought I was about to have a heartattack or something. I know I'll never do the stupid crapp again taking both of those at the same time.

D*** Cashmoney, I have a feeling you are trying to do away with me. Do we need to go to the private messages and discuss it???
I'm not trying to stay up all day and night, I just don't want to feel sluggish.

Try adding B-Complex vitamin and see if it helps. I took an isotonic B-vitamin while in school and it really did give me some pep without feeling jittery or anything like that.
I take the following....
One-A-Day women's multi vitamin
3000 mg of MSM
Lean Balance (not really a vitamin, but a diet pill).

Nahhh dude, seriously, 3 redbulls won't put you in. Just don't take the redbulls and ephedra at the same time.
