Advice about Kentucky?

Hi! My husband just got word that he is being transfered to western Kentucky with his job. We're both from Illinois and don't know much about KY. Any suggestions for good places to live (anywhere west of Louisville) or potential employers??? Does anyone know anything about Owensboro or Bowling Green? We have 60 days to figure out where to live and buy a house. Help!

I personally don't know much about that area, but we just activated a chapter at Murray State in Kentucky. You could send them an e-mail and see what contacts/info they have! (E-mail link on the Sigma Alpha Web site) Good luck!
