I need an artist to paint a C of A

The Brothers at Cal State Fullerton do not have a nice, large style, Coat of Arms. I would like to commission someone to paint one for them. Has anyone done this recently, and if so, who did you use and how can I contact them?

A good source of cheap local art talent is your local high school. Go talk to an art teacher tell them youwould like to have some artwork done for a tidy fee ($75-100 bucks) and to have him or her let you know if they have any talented students that would like to do this.

There are always a few great artists in that age group in any given high school and they all want to get some money

just my 2 cents

Jason

I recently recieved a package in the mail from Jono. It turned out to be a freshly, hand-painted Coat of Arms. It was beautiful. I beleive Earp has one as well, he may be able to give his opinion on that. I would talk to Jono if I were you.

Thumbs up

Yes, I do, and that is why I dont like Jono. He is so talented!

I am a slub when it comes to painting anything.

Mine are not as big as You may need, but, Jono, please add if so desire.

He also did something that I fell in love With When I visited BN for a Founders Day, A Back Lighted Coat of Arms that was used when I was there, I was astounded with it.

lenoxxx is right, and I never would have thought of that. A High School Project for an Art Student. Can use a form 25 to copy off of.

The Coat of Arms is such an elaborate piece. It's very beautiful.

If Jono can't help you, I do know of another brother that has painted COA's before - a very talented artist. PM if you need information.

John, I'd like to help you but aside from being on the other end of the continent, the truth is I'm not really that good at it. I'm really not very artistic. Besides, I think you're looking for something big which would have to be done on stretched canvas. The ones I do are on paper 18" x 24" or smaller and need to be framed under glass. I hope you can find someone locally who can do it justice. Good luck.

ZAX,
Jono
