As Aron Morgan stood wearing a white “Vote for Pedro” shirt, jeans, gray snow boots and a curly, blonde wig, the crowd knew what he was about to perform.
This performance, along with nine others, was part of the sixth annual Delta Zeta Man Show on Wednesday in the University Center Rosebud Theatre.
The money collected from event tickets, T-shirts and raffle tickets was donated to the Delta Zeta Foundation, which helps fund speech and hearing facilities.
The theater was packed, and the hosts of the evening, Delta Zeta sorority members, were dressed up for the event, many in high heels and dresses.
Twenty men from different university organizations, like Sigma Chi fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and the track team, were contestants.
All 20 competed in an obstacle course Monday to obtain a spot in the show. The 10 with the most points moved on to the talent show.
Undeclared sophomore Brandon Steadman, a
Sigma Chi fraternity member, performed a song he wrote to his future dream girl called “Miss No-Name.” He was given the evening’s top honor by being crowned
Mr. Dynamite.
