				 Best Fried Chicken Ever

This thread was inspired by tonights dinner.
My neighborhood fried chicken joint, the Cornerstone Grill , has the best fried chicken that I've ever had.

They take free range chicken, remove the skin (which I hate,) batter dip and pressure cook it. This is really good stuff, for the price of KFC or Popeyes!

And you can even get a huge side of broccoli for $2.50 if you want to pretend that you're eating healthy.

In the Chicago area: White Fence Farm, closely followed by Dell Rhea's Chicken Basket. Both have been around a while, both are in interesting buildings, both are excellent.

Honestly, I really like KFC. After that, theres a joint here called Earl Abels thats known for its fried chicken.
I could eat it 7 days a week.

There's a restaurant chain in the Atlanta area called Folks that I absolutely love. They have all the Southern food like fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, catfish, peach muffins, etc. Their fried chicken is awesome!
Publix fried chicken is really good too!

Popeye's is awesome; maybe it was because of all the alcohol I had during Mardi Gras, but when I had it down in New Orleans it was amazing.

Except for my mother's homemade and Popeye's/Bojangle's, I haven't found GREAT fried chicken....
I liked Church's when it was still in the north...

Ah well, nothing like searching though |

 | I miss Po'Folks!!! We had one here waaaaay back in the day, but it was turned into a pool hall that eventually burned down. That's what they get for taking away good fried chicken.

Other than that, here we have KFC, Church's, Popeye's, Bojangles (one of my favorites, even though I'm always the lone white person in there and get funny looks), and Miss Marian's- a little hole-in-the-wall place a few miles from my house. Great chicken and incredible collards. Can't beat good greens with your chicken

				Babe's

If you live in DFW, and haven't been to Babe's Chicken Dinner House in Roanoke (north of Fort Worth), you don't know what you are missing. You get your choice of fried chicken or chicken fried steak, and all you can eat sides (mashed potatoes, salad, cream corn, the best buttermilk biscuits w/honey).

Makes my mouth water just thinking about it...and now I live 4.5 hours away and can't get any. Dang...thanks alot for making me think about it....
