if I COB do i have to live in the house?

I know you guys wont know specifically for the school I go to, but generally, if I rush during feburary through open bidding, and I get in, do I have to live in the house? Im wondering bc i would love to be in a sorority but I have already talked to a friend about getting an apartment together..!
Thanks so much!!!!

Housing policies vary by chapter as necessitated by the facility. Ask your rushers or the recruitment chair if you're concerned. It is likely if you "have to" live in, that information will be given to you at the outset of the COB process.
