Name one other NPC group that is/was your group's main competition on your campus:
On my campus it was:
Phi Mu

It's funny because no one on my campus competes with any other group. We all send each other big good luck cakes before recruitment and have all Panhellenic socials to cut down on that sort of competitiveness.

Yeah...Panhellenic spirit & all...
I guess I'm speaking more about Recruitment (Rush) -- those numbers tell who your competition is/was...

I'm not so sure about numbers-wise but alot of girls who preffed us also preffed Delta Zeta and Alpha Xi Delta. They are both pretty awesome.

I wouldn't say we have one main competitor... we kind of fill a niche market. The other four sororities could almost be paired up - I saw a lot of PNMs pref Alpha Phi and Sigma Kappa, or Alpha Chi Omega and Kappa Alpha Theta, but rarely would you see anyone pref, say, Alpha Phi and Theta.
Edit: I guess it's safe to name names

hmmm....that is tough this year for recruitment 2004 most girls that came to AOII's pref also went to Kappa Delta, Phi Mu, Pi Beta Phi, and Kappa. I would say Pi Beta Phi, Kappa, and Phi Mu are our big competitors during recruitment. Although, Theta is always there too.

there's only 3 chapters on my campus... so we all are competition with one another. Our pref parties are usuall filled pretty equally with girls who went to the other two chapters from what I can tell.

When I was in school, there were 4 NPC sororities on campus. We seemed to be "paired" with each other (competitively)...the two larger sororities shared some of the same PNMs (and some of the same chapter characteristics), while AST and ASA shared some of the same PNMs and the same chapter characteristics.

NPC groups at my school all seem to have a different sorority they compete with during different events.
are competitors are Gamma Phi Beta for grades and songfest and we compete with them and two others for recruitment. Although we have a habit of not cross prefing with just one or two sororities but all of them, so it's hard to pinpoint who we compete with for recruitment.
I also know the gammas and pi phi's compete like crazy for derby dayz and intramurals

Well, KD and AXO.

For rush, our big competitors are Kappa Kappa Gamma, Alpha Xi Delta, and usually Delta Gamma.
For stuff like airbands, our big competitor is usually Alpha Xi. All the other philanthropies and things, it really just depends on the frat and the event.
