ADPi Flag???

In an online history of ADPi written by Mackenzie Blair. It says that a regulation flag for ADPi was adopted in the years 1911-1917. Does anyone know what it looks like or did their chapter have one??

Wasn't there a parade of chapter flags at the 2001 (150th anniversary) Convention? Bueller? Anyone?

There was a parade of chapter flags and I think they do it every year at the opening ceremony where the current president carries in this little blue flag with the chapter letters on it. I think that's different then what PiLove is talking about. I have no idea what the regulation flag looks like.

possibly...

During convention '03 my experience--

At the processional: chapter delegates march in bearing chapter flags that are white with azure letters denoting the chapter designation.

At the convention Panhellenic luncheon, 26 ADPi's march in, each bearing an NPC sorority flag. The ADPi flag was white with azure blue ADPi Greek letters. I suspect this is the flag they are referring to, and no, collegiate chapters and AA's wouldn't have one, because there's no need for them to have it. (As you'll see in the supply book, there's no opportunity for either group to order one, b/c it isn't part of chapter/association needs).

My chapter does actually have one... But I do not believe it is the official one that was adopted then... In the all greek res hall all the fraternities and sororities each have a flag hanging in the lobby...

We had something like that! It was made out of strange material, and we had a horrible time getting it clean, though!

Yay that is my home, at least until the end of the year. The ADPi wing is the second floor (actually 4th floor) where the first balcony is. We kinda had an incident in the hall where some chapter flags were taken down/ torn in half. Don't ask me how that happened especially the Delta Upsilon flag. It looked like someone jumped off the balcony and tore the flag off. Interesting.

If anyone wants to know the interesting things that happen in Mountain View at Northern Arizona University just let me know or ask nauadpi!
