Question Just Wondering...

My friend asked me today if I had ever heard of the fraternity, "Mu Gamma Beta?" He said he saw a guy wearing the letters, but when he did a search, he couldn't find anything.

Has anybody heard of this fraternity, and if so, is it national/local/IFC/MCGLO/LGLO...?

Thanks a bunch!

Evidently no one knows.

If you have access to a Bairds at school Library, it might help.

Google didn't turn up anything, and there's no reference to this group on GreekPages.

There was a dorm that did that on campus my last year as well, they made up greek-letter shirts to go with their dorm theme. The trouble was, no one understood the joke, and lots of people thought there was a new co-ed fraternity on campus.

haha, I go to a women's college with no npc, but the first-years made up some greek letters (Delta Pi Kappa) cuz they thought the boys at Tech wouldn't sleep with them if they weren't in a sorority or some silliness. Crazy first-years.

My guess is that since the greek letter for "gamma" looks like a lower case "R" it would look something like DOrK...Although it would make more sense to have an Omicron not an Omega if they were really trying to make sense. Silly boys.

Kinda like the Dirty Girls Social Club that some friends of mine "started" basically as a joke for our group that was always with each other. They gave it the letters DGSC (since we have both DG and SK so that it wouldn't sound like they were making fun of either one). And all notes are signed "Love in PDA."
