Sorors, I stumbled across this post in the AKA forum and I thought it was just too deep to ignore. I'm very interested in what you have to say.

I was watching an old movie called "Return to Paradise" about three dudes who went to an Asian country just to kick it. They bought and smoked alot of hash, and got with the prostitutes, whatever. When their vacation was up, two returned to America while one decided to stay. The one that stayed was later busted for the hash they had all bought, and sent to prison. The amount he was caught with was large, so the authorities there accused him of intending to sell-which carries a penalty of death by hanging. This dude's only hope was if his friends returned to the country, admitted their part in it, and served prison time(three years each).
I already know we promote positive social behavior; so in answering the question please refrain from answering it from a religious, moral perspective.
QUESTION: All fraternities/sororities emphasize brotherhood/sisterhood. If the above situation happened to one of your bruhs/sorors, would you return to serve a prison term (and save your bruh's/soror's life), or would you let him/her die? KEEP IT REAL, YALL!!!

As I shared with The Original Ape, it's hard to answer this question! I believe that if me and the sorors were close enough to go on an out-of-the-country vacation together, then we're obviously close enough that I couldn't live with myself if I didn't go back. I'm just too altruistic! The self-hatred I'd experience if the person were killed would eventually kill me. God knows I wouldn't WANT to, but I think I would. Would you?
