Question Low Sugar/Fat/Etc Orange Juice

I bought some of the Tropicana Light-N-Healthy OJ, you know, the new "low sugar/fat/carb" kind. I give it a thumbs up for big OJ drinkers. I've already lost 2 lbs in one week with just switching OJ's. It's made with splenda, which isn't that bad. I will admit though that it DOES have an aftertaste to it, but, after drinking it for a week I can't really tell it anymore.

Anyone else try this? Etc?

Lightbulb

Did you put enough vodka in it to make it taste good to drink?

I'm a big fan of the Essentials with added calcium, but there is an aftertaste with that one, too. So, normally I just stick to the regular.

I like the Heart Healthy blend and the Immunity Defense one.

I tried the Light n Healthy one or whatever. I didnt like it. I thougth it tasted like the OJ was watered down.

Orange juice has never effected my weight, but it has helped me I believe during "sick season" and I can also report (though I'm sure this wasnt the only reason) since i started drinking the Heart Healthy blend my total cholesterol went down from 215 to 153 in a 6 month period. Fo rthose that dont know anything about cholesterol levels, a total cholesterol below 200 is optimal.

A low sugar OJ wouldn't help me much because the only time I drink OJ is when my blood sugars are low. And then I need to have the sugar.

I have had the Immunity Defense and Healthy Heart ones... they're good.

But nothing beats Trader Joe's brand OJ. That stuff is awesome!

I usually drink the calcium enriched OJ since I'm unable to have dairy products. I may try the low sugar OJ if I start drinking it more often.

I am with you on the calcium enriched OJ. I look for that first before i start looking for 1/2 sugar or lo carb.

I dont have an intolarance to diary i just dont like milk , although i am getting use to soy milk "silk", but i try to drink the oj with it so i know iam getting my daily calcium intake.
