SNL/Jimmy Fallon

Is anyone watching SNL? Jimmy Fallon just said it was his last show. I didn't know he was leaving. Did anyone else?

Nope, didn't know either. In any case, best of luck to Jimmy, whatever he does next!

He was actually supposed to leave last season, but for whatever reason he decided to stick around.

I heard him say that last night and I was very confused because it hadn't been mentioned. Why is he leaving now instead of at the end of the season?

I believe last night was the season finale.

No, it was the finale. They only mentioned it during the last skit when they said something like it was the last one before summer. They didn't seem to make a big deal about Jimmy leaving.

The Olsens were funny. Not the best hosts, but still ok. My favorite skit was when they were photographers and Mary-Kate yelled at the fake Mary-Kate to "eat a sandwich".

THANK GOD

Fallon is a key member of BAD actors on SNL who think that breaking character and laughing cause you can't hold it in makes for good comedy.

IT MEANS YOU'RE A BAD ACTOR BUD......

Sorry to rant, but SNL hasn't been the same since 90-94; the same cliche unfunny skits and overexaggerations......They only did Church Chat once evey couple monthes...in SNL 2004 it'd be on EVERY Sat.

The skits where the actors can hardly keep it together are the funniest to me.

Fair enough....people like William Hung.....

Is Freddy got Fingered one of your favorite movies? Do you appreciate the cinematic triumph of Kangaroo Jack? Are you looking forward to Club Dread on DVD?

So, God Forbid Fallon gets a sitcom.......will you laugh every week when he can't remember his lines?

Oh wait....there's a point to doing it live.....

Geez, no reason to get so riled up about it. Do I like William Hung? No. Did I even bother seeing Freddy Got Fingered? No. What is Kangaroo Jack? What is Club Dread? Would they have a sitcom with someone who doesn't remember their lines? Well, no. I just find it amusing when the actors even think the skit is funny. I've never been a huge SNL fan because most of the humor on it is not humorous to me. I just happen to like Jimmy Fallon.

I'm glad no one else knew about Jimmy Fallon leaving...I thought maybe I missed a memo or something.

It will be interesting to see what he does next - I can't see him carrying a whole show on his own.

You know, there are 340928579456 other injustices in the world, and it's a shame that he gets mad just because there are people like you and me who LIKE Jimmy Fallon. I dig William Hung too.

I'm off to listen to "Idiot Boyfriend" now.

lol who says I'm mad?

I don't think he breaks because he thinks the skit is funny...he does it because he's such a bad actor that any small break in the skit causes this flood of it..................

I love the "He's mad" card...THAT's funnier than Jimmy Fallon It's not an injustice....people laugh and he cashes in on it....more power to him...doesn't mean others DON'T think it's funny...

ETA: Horatio Sanz is like this too, so it's not just Jimmy that I'm saying this about....
