That's really cool!!!
For my bid day we got Phi Mu t-shirts, blue or white Phi Mu stadium cups, little lions with Phi Mu scarves on them, a fabric bookmark with our creed on it, some pink carnations, and um....a keychain I believe. Last year our girls got adorable Phi Mu totebags with a bunch of Phi Mu stuff in them, they have Phi Mu written out in bright pink script letters with stars all around it. I ended up buying one at our auction end of the year b/c I liked it so much!!!

The day I accepted my bid, I got a card from the chapter, a letter from my pledge mom and a million hugs from the girls who came to extend it to me (I was an open rush gal) then over the next week, one sister made little "welcome to AGD" signs for my door and when I finally got my big (2 weeks after I accepted, long story) my big gave me letters and a car sticker. When I held over to be w/a bigger class I got red, buff, and green balloons and a red and a buff rose and a bid day t-shirt

Wow, you all got some pretty cool stuff.
On Bid Day, I got a black tote bag with black and white plaid letters on it, my "Delta Zeta and You" book (which is missing... ), a notepad with a cute turtle on it, a DZ pen, and my very first letter shirt. We had a sleepover at the house that night, and I wore my new shirt home the next day to show my parents because I was so proud of it.
In the weeks that followed, we also got "Turtle Tot" gifts from the actives, which were things like DZ cups, car window decals, notepads, and picture frames. We were showered with gifts all the time--but we liked spoiling our new members like that.

When I went through we only got out bid day shirt, but now the new members get cute stuff. We got violets from our pledge mom at initiation. We got all our Sigma Kappa stuff (picture frames, cups, stickers) from our big Sis.

On Bid Day we got tee shirts and a bunch of little things -- stickers, a cup, pens, a keychain, I forget the rest.
When I found out who my big was, she gave me a stuffed dolphin.
We also get tons of presents from our moms right before initiation. I got a Tri Delta champagne glass (I mean . . . juice glass ) with a bottle of sparkling grape juice, a little stuffed dolphin, a notepad, a framed copy of our family poem (everybody gets these, although the poems are different), a candy bowl with a bunch of candy in it, and more -- I can't even remember half of the stuff.

My local gave us letter shirts in our colors when we were initiated.
When we were initiated into AEPhi, we got pin boxes with the AEPhi crest.
We generally gave out t-shirts and random AEPhi stuff (pencils, cups, stickers, etc) as bid day gifts. Those who joined via COB usually got whatever we'd given the new member class from the previous formal rush.
And we always did door decorations. My freshman year, I roomed with an AXO and a Theta. It looked like a package of construction paper had exploded outside our door

The day I got my I accepted my bid I got a rose and then when I was initiated I got a rose. Also, that day I got a really old steel plate that was used to print our crest on the new member books from the 20s. It is really cool and is the older crest that had a couple of differences on it.

Bid day I got: bid day shirt, key chain, stadium cup, pen and pencil, and a flower...I think that was everything...my chapter generally sticks around those same things for the bid day bags every year...
