Well this past weekend i got a phone call from one of my girls, telling me she had some crazy stories to tell me. I initially thought it was going to be some typical saturday night story, little did i know what i was about to hear next. She then went on to tell me that one of our sister's parents had got into a bad accedent. They were air lifted to 2 seperate hospitals. Her mom punctured a lung broke some ribs and her leg is shattered, and might have to be amputated. Her dad broke both legs, punctured both lungs, broke some ribs and isnt responding. He could have possible brain damage. And to add to everything her grandmother died this morning.

I didnt believe it when i heard this. I was in complete shock. Why did this happen to her? She is our rock, our strength our best friend. She helps us, especially me when i needed her support and now she has to experience this! Its just not fair!

But i know, all i can do is be there for her. Be her strength, rock and support just like she is to us!

I hope this makes you sit back and take a look around you... I know i sure did.

Please say a little prayer for her and her family and anyone else that may be going through rough times. I will be doing the same.

God doesn't give anyone something they can't handle - remember that. This is an opportunity to be there for her like she has been for everyone else - for the support and love she's going to need.

So this weekend I got the chance to see my friend. It was the hardest thing i had to deal with. I didnt know what to say. The whole day she was fine, of course putting on a front. but towards the end of the night after a few drinks, which we all know wasnt the best idea she did get quiet and sad. Now i know you all are thinking why wasnt she with her parents and why was she drinking, but thats what she wanted to do. She needed to get away for a lil bit and be with us girls and right now we dont need to be telling her she cant drink. Of course we said we dont want her to drown her sorrows but she has to make her own decisions right now. And belive me all of us are watching her like a hawk!

I ended up crying with her and told her she shouldnt be going through this. and just gave her a big hug.

She is being so strong for her and her family and i give her so much credit for hanging in there cuz i know i would be an emotional wreck. I usually talk to her every other day or and when i do its usually to get her mind off of it and we talk about other things.

just wanted to share a lil update and thank everyone for thier thoughts and prayers.

I completely understand her wanting to get out of there. When my mom was in ICU, I spent my entire Spring Break in there, with the exception of one day, because I just had to get away from it. I was tired of being so miserable in that environment all day.

Prayers are still going out to your friend and her family. Please let us know if there's any progress.

Ok so i have an update. I talked with her today and actually asked about details. Normally i dont, i leave that to the other girls, not to mention i dont live up there anymore so i just try to be the one who calls to get her mind off of it. Anyway, she told me her mom is doing better but emotionally is a mess. As for her dad she found out today that he has an 80% mortality rate. As for her shes hanging in there.
