I thought it was Bosephus (in the song) - there are no "official" animals for LXA (though certain brothers I have known would certainly qualify!) - perhaps this is something specific to your chapter - many chapters have dogs or other pets, and your best bet is to ask around the chapter to see if someone is willing to share.

Do NOT, repeat, do NOT call Indianpolis to inquire about this - your post and question could be interpreted as hazing (if you are REQUIRED to get this information or otherwise suffer consequences).... I've personally seen this happen - so use discretion (and if you are being hazed: find a way to put a stop to it - it has no business in LXA - remind your soon-to-be-brothers that you were told that you would not be asked to do anything a gentleman could not or should not do....).

I do recall seeing it during one of our "Fraternity Quiz Show" nights when the family trees competed against each other..... it's were i picked up other vital info like the Fraternity's vegetable, hat, animal, tree, or TKN colours. Basically they loved to throw some stuff like that out to stump the guys......

Question

Dog

We dont have no stinkinig Dog!

Well, not as a Mascot Officially anyway!

At LX Z, well, when it was Beta Chi, we had a Mutt named Zorba!

He was like us, a bunch of mis-fits who were just working our butts off! Damn could that Dog Shit!

Also as the founder, I had to take him home with me and the dumb ass ate the seat off of my vespa scooter!

If we did have a International pooch, I dont know what to pick! They would all remind me of my ex!

OO OO also ditto LXAAlum, Dont!

No sweat about the question that was asked guys. Flyboyfozzy is as you know one of our AM's. In our ZAX sessions sometimes our Kappa will give them some small time trivia to spark their interest into searching for things they cannot find in the pedagogus. It's all light hearted stuff.

I had also heard it was the German Shepard.

Reason #1> Because Wally (the old editor of the C&C) went to New Hampshire and that was their mascot and said it shoudl be the fraternity one so he started telling peopel who asked that it twas the German Shepard. To his credit, he also told people the reason why he said German Shepard.

Reason #2. I heard one time that either Warren A, Cole or Bruce Hunter Macintosh has a trusty German Shepard and it worked its way into the lore....
