Microwave popcorn may give you lung cancer!

The Environmental Protection Agency is studying the chemicals released into the air when a bag of microwave popcorn is popped or opened.

Exposure to vapors from butter flavoring in microwave popcorn has been linked to a rare lung disease contracted by factory workers in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has said it suspects the chemical diacetyl caused the illnesses.

OMG, You Need Sex or an asprin! A lot of them!

There is a little know fact, in a County, Jasper, Town, in SW Mo. they make the flavoring of butter on the Pop Corn that is eaten or put on Nuker PopCorn in Jasper Mo. that has caused health problems to all of the workers there! It is synthetic flavoring!

Hey Folks, that aint real butter on the POP CORN!

Hell, I did not even know that or my Dad who lives in Barton County just North of there! Read in the Paper, surprise, DA!

OK for the None True Mid Country Heathens, it is North of Joplin, Mo.! SW Part of the State!

Oh, One of the if not only Black Powder Makers of BOMM BOOM stuff is made In Carthage Mo. Why would I bring this up, Da, it is all in the same 30 Mile radia!

i think what tom is trying to say is.. that the butter on the popcorn is a chemical, so its not unlikely that large exposure can cause cancer..

thats the condensed jist, i think.

How do they get lab rats to eat or smell that much popcorn?

DeltaAlum, this is the mixture used in Nuker Popcorn and also sent to movie theaters! Mostly used on Nuker Pop corn!

Microwave popcorn is gross anyway. The hot air popped kind is way tastier and then you can put your own melted butter or margarine on, not some yellow petroleum by-product...eeeewwwwww
