Jennie & Brianna's AMUSING spring break

Day One: (Monday)
Checking into the ghetto motel of Anaheim: Okay so Jennie's mom books us a hotel online through Southwest airlines. It says it is 'five miles from Disneyland'. Well it WAS actually five miles from Disneyland, on the wrong side of Buena Park. It was scary.So we leave Disneyland at around 5pm, it took us until about 6:30 to find out hotel and check in. The check in, what an ordeal. It took three swipes and guy calling for authorization before the damn credit card took. We were tired and hungry and bitchy by this point. Although bonus, we were right next door to the emergency room.

Day Two: (Tuesday)
So we decide to spend the day at California Adventure. Being the two smart edumacated women that we are, we get the fast passes for the rapids ride. So the first time we go on, we barely get wet. It was all good, just a little drizzle. He he the second time is another story. We made it through the major portions of the ride fairly dry. Oh but no, the rogue geyser decides to pop and drench our entire raft. Not a little wet, SOAKED TO THE BONE. We become commrades with our fellow five strangers, because we were all soaked.

Day Three: (Wednesday, current)
We went to Sea World and that was quite fun. We took lots of pictures, including a great picture in front of some violets. Can we say lucky!!!!
So now we get to our current amusement.

Channel surfing is GREAT in southern California. Where else can you turn on public access and see someone who would be considered an American Idol reject?
His current song is a slow song and his lyrics 'making me cry' are making us cry, not because it is sad but because it is humerous. Plus, the guy cannot dance.

Damn, our amusement just ended.

Wow, he did his own choreography, let me tell ya it was 'slammin'. He thanked is ex's. You wanna know what the name of the show is, the seXXXy show. I don't think the triple x's stand for the Vin Disel movie either.

Our amusement prior to this was Jessica Simpson, oh wait she is still on. She doesn't know how to use the ATM machine to pay for her gas. Oh Lord!!!!! At least watching The Newleyweds is better than Sorority Life.

Brianna and Jennie will be signing out.

Just thought our sisters would get a kick out of this. Since we haven't managed to run into any sisters so far, we had to share. LOL.

We will update tomorrow.

Day 4: (Thursday)

So we were going to go to the beach today....it's freaking cold on the coast this week, so we decide to drive down there to show Brianna the Hotel Del Coronado

As we're driving through Poway, some 16-year old freckle faced boy decides he's going to try and take out the right side of my car. Luckily I can pull over into the left lane and avoid the accident, but he doesn't even do anything to prevent slamming into my car, and then stares at us as he drives by at the next light and gives *us* the dirty look!

We get to Coronado, and not being used to free parking spaces available along the sidewalk in front of the beach, I park way far down from the way down to the beach! After walking a little bit in the cold air, we decide to get on out of Coronado and head over to SDSU to look up the ADPi chapter there.

We get to campus and we're driving along the road that the house is supposed to be on...can't find the house and we had to have passed it, so we turn around and go back and find it, so we park around the corner on the next street and walk back to the house. It's really cute, and I love their walkway leading up to the house. Brianna knocked on the door, but no one was home, so we headed out and I took her to see Fraternity Row at State (they're some really nice houses!) and then we came back home to relax for awhile. We'll see if we need to add an addendum later on tonight if anything else amusing occurs.......

Friday March 19th

TODAY IS MY 25TH BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!

We are planning a trip to the San Diego Zoo. I haven't been there in years. As soon as we got home one of us will update.
