Simmie Knox- 1st AA to Paint A US President's Portrait...
The unveiling of the The Clinton's portraits was this morning in the White House. Mr. Knox was on hand for the unveiling. The portraits were unbelievable and so life-like.
You can watch repeats of the unveiling on C-SPAN.
Strictly FYI.

Did anyone watch the unveiling? I saw parts of it from a newscast last night. The Bush-Clinton lovefest was great!
Joking, schmoozing and "emoting" as in his pomp, Bill Clinton began a frenzied fortnight back in the centre of the media spotlight yesterday when he returned to the White House for the unveiling of his official presidential portrait.
The former president said he felt like a "pickle stepping into history" as he responded to some warm tributes from his successor, President George W Bush, at the ceremony in the East Room.

Did yall see Chelsea? She has grown up into a beautiful woman. I was worried about her for a minute there.

I just finished reading the transcript of the ceremony. S-Y-R-U-P-Y is not the word but at least it should show folks that politics need not be about personal attack.
Is anyone planning to read Clinton's book? I am, but then I read all the presidential bio/autobiographies..... for I am a political junkie and I love all the behind the scene stuff. Of course with Bill, "behind-the-scenes" takes on a whole new meaning

I plan on reading it. Love bios! Yeah, I thought they both exhibited a great deal of class.
