I am in charge of the youth at our church. I am fairly new to this job and I am in need of games to play for the youth day. This event will take inside the church santuary. Does anyone know of any activities?

Hmm.. there's always the good old Bible drills. My daddy was a deacon, and used to wear this game OUT at Vacation Bible School. You know... you say a chapter and verse, yell "go", and see who finds it and reads it first. I always liked that game, probably because I'm so competitive. We also used to do Bible Jeopardy with maybe 2 teams of 3 to 4 people. I always liked that as well.

Thanks Diva, I've never heard of that one before. The jeopardy style anyway I'll definately use that one. I think we are about to were it out too, lol.
Allow students to act out various personalities in the bible and then discuss who the characters acted or felt. Make sure that students understand that personalities in the bible are men and women and not some supernatural. Students will gain a better understanding of society's influences and how as Christians one has to remain strong and press for the higher mark.
