Not Even a Nickel for the Subway

Who can tell me what movie the above line appeared in?

I am just wondering how random my fellow children of the 80's are.

You can make me happy by jogging my memory. There was a movie about a black guy who did kungfu and i think there was some sort of dragon involved in there. It's possible the words suki suki now came from it but I'm not sure. This is killing me.

I think that it is Berry Gordy's Last Dragon.

Yes I knew it had the word dragon in it. I really want to see that now.

It is definitely The Last Dragon, and I think you are thinking of a disco-type song during one of the scenes:

"suki yuki hot saki soup...you sock it to me....i sock it to you"

Sound familiar?

That movie was in heavy rotation a year or so ago on cable so that's how I remembered it. Suki suki.

I loved The Last Dragon. It was the first PG-13 movie I ever saw.
