Talking Fondest AOII Memory

If you could pick ONLY one, what is your fondest AOII memory?

My fondest memory...I was so shocked that SO many AOII sisters came to a dinner for my initiation (including Beryana ). It made my heart happy; and I knew, just knew, I was right where I belonged.

What a great thread!

I'm lucky enough to have had so many "fondest AOII memories"...spending a few free hours in NY during Centennial with my dear little and my 1st Chapter Adviser...having sisters to this day that I have no fear to call upon when I need them...staying up almost all night listening to Leigh Perry tell stories at CA training...AOII weddings...getting a private, amazingly wonderful personalized tour of HQ followed by dessert and a darned nice glass of sweet tea last spring...the rush retreat where we had had more fun than we ever should have, got to know each other better than we ever had before, and finally hit quota...

Yes, I know that's not only one but y'all know me Honestly, for some reason, I have a feeling that my "fondest AOII moment" really still hasn't happened. Isn't that weird?

Roses,
Christin

Our house was on a hilll, and after it would rain we would race members of other houses down the hill in laundry baskets. We also had kareoke nights on our front lawn and people would stop by off the street and join in! I miss those days....but my all time fave was meeting Ginger Banks for the first time...what an amazing lady!

Awww! Sorry to crash the AOII board, but I bet seeing your daughter become your sister was truly something special!

My fondest memory was when my sister was initiated as an AOII. I cried so much I had to leave for a few minutes to blow my nose because I was dripping!

I would say my second favorite memory was when Nu Beta initiated 86 out of 95 new members this past November. It was a wonderful feeling to realize my time as chapter adviser had helped and that Nu Beta had worked very hard to keep their new members and to make them feel at home and to show their sisterhood to their new sisters.

It was easier for me to remember two sad memories. But I dug and decided that this is my fondest:

The day the chapter I advised had a surprise candle passing for me after my daughter was born. Their thoughtfulness then and so many other times continues to touch my heart.
