Panhellenic News Article

Okay folks! Y'all have helped me before and I need your help once again!

I have to write an article for a local women's magazine promoting our Panhellenic Association. Any tips?

I was thinking about putting something like "it doesn't matter if you don't know anyone when you arrive, you will have lots of new friends when you leave". Does that sound too corny???

I know for my group alone, we have about 130 members just in 2 of the 6 counties, but it is hard to get people to come to events.

I'm not sure how long the article will be...if they will cut it down. I have 1 person on my committee who said she knew the editor personally but she hasn't gotten back with me.

The deadline is January 10th.

I'll be writing shorter ones in March and April, promoting our 2 recruitment information sessions and college scholarships.

Thanks y'all!

I think I'd touch on the fact that Panhellenic is so inclusive and how women from different backgrounds and affiliations work together toward common goals, and in the end, become as close as the sisters in their own chapter. I know that's the case with my APH here in Tally.

On a different note - we're going to do recruitment info sessions for the first time this year. Could you send me any information on how you guys plan/execute your sessions?

Thanks in advance.
