TKE Receives ISAE STAR Awards for Excellence in Association Management
(INDIANAPOLIS) – In an elegant evening celebrating management excellence, Tau Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity recently received the Indiana Society of Association Executives' (ISAE) top association recognition in the categories of Best Membership Recruitment Campaign and Best Membership Directory.
Considered by many to be the "Academy Awards" of association management, the Indiana Society of Association Executives recognized the "best of the best" in several categories of association management, products, services, and events. Known as the STAR Awards (Society's Top Association Recognition), these honors are given to associations and individuals through a rigorous application and judging process. Awards are presented for "the best of" in categories such as: Best Membership Directory, Best Promotion Program, Best Magazine, Best Government Relations Program and Best Communication Program, to name a few.
Being a Teke is about striving to live up to a standard of excellence, based on principles that relate to the Fraternity's mission to "aid men in their mental, moral and social development for life." TKE was honored with the 2003 ISAE STAR Award distinction of Best Membership Recruitment Campaign for its "Redefining Fraternity" campaign.
TKE unveiled its Redefining Fraternity campaign so that members can better recruit and educate others about the Fraternity. And as a result, TKE has provided thousands of young men the right tools to communicate to parents, potential TKE candidates and the campus community what membership in TKE is all about.
A historical document that ensures each and every member will understand and appreciate the Fraternity's rich heritage, traditions and purpose, TKE was also presented the 2003 ISAE STAR Award distinction of Best Membership Directory for The Teke Guide.
This publication has continually provided members with tools to better familiarize themselves with the Fraternity, its mission, vision and values. Often used as an educational tool for new members, The Teke Guide is a helpful directory of information regarding Fraternity history, traditions and structure.
"These exemplary distinctions are a direct reflection of the dedication and passion that the Offices of the Grand Chapter has to provide our members with high quality and highly accessible programs and materials," said Brian Ferber, CAE, Vice President and General Manager of Tau Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity.
