For all the G.W. Bush haters

Economy grows at 7.2 percent rate in third quarter, best showing since early 1984

if your going blame a bad economy on him.. you better give him props for a good economy. Or are you just biased and close minded?!?!

Oh, also, in the UPI news (something that was reported back in march but no one believed because it wasnt mainstream press)

U.S. intelligence officials Wednesday released an assessment that Iraqi weapons of mass destruction have been transferred to neighboring Syria.

The officials, in the first assessment of its kind, said the transfer occurred during the weeks prior to the U.S.-led war against the Saddam Hussein regime.

damn it cash,

you'd better not pronouncing your support for Bush. The liberal GC mod Gestapo will be on you faster than a fat girl on cake.

Knowing how much they like to ban you, you might not get the leniency that some of us other charismatic Bush supporters get.

I don't think any of them are gonna get on my case. I post both good and bad stuff about Bush. The fact that I think he's the greatest president we've ever had shouldn't piss any of them off. The problems we have right now are all Bill Clinton's fault. Reagan and the first Bush spend 3 terms building up our society and then Bill Clinton trashed everything in 8 years.

Whats wrong expressing your political favorites?

Make sure you imprison their families too, that way you don't have any crazy family members coming after you.

Good or bad economy, it can't be blamed on Bush.

It also can't be blamed on Clinton.

The GDP growth is also not a complete indicator that we have "a good economy" because we don't.

These weapons have been placed somwhere in syria but they still haven't been found.

This is not bush hating or democrat loving.

The president's policies do tend to have an effect on economics but it's a delayed effect. For example, Clinton did many things to industry such as imposing new restrictions, laws, etc.. during his administration that started bearing fruit at the end of his presidency.

Those were aggravated by 9-11. Therefore, the Dems blamed the economy on Bush... So now during Bush's term, we have many important economic indicators trending up... Many (not all) economists will attribute this to increased consumer spending due to tax cuts..

I think the point of this thread is that Dems can't have their cake and eat it too. If you want to blame the poor economy on Bush then you also have to credit him with the improving economy.

It's also fine if you don't blame him for either one, but having a situation where you believe B but not A should be unacceptable.

Here's a simplistic view from someone who is not a Bush supporter (nor a Bush hater):
I don't give a crap who's responsible for it. I'm just praying for an improvement that I and my family can see, feel, touch, whatever...experience personally. Until my self-employed father is able to pay his mortgage without having to choose between that or groceries, and my friends are able to find good, permanent jobs that don't include the phrase "would you like fries with that?", I will not accept any news of a strengthening economy as truth.
