Fyi

so I was recently informed that the embattled, once proud Eta chapter of Beta Theta Pi at the University of North Carolina is back on its feet and fulfilling requirements to re-affiliate with our nationals.

Have any of you heard about this? I am pretty happy about this personally. It's always good to see our realm growing.

I did not hear any official news, however it wouldn't surprise me if they were back up and running. They were still pretty prominent even after General took their charter. Seems to me they are pretty strong on that campus, they have been there for a loooong time.

Good for them. Beta needs to get back to our old chapters.

more beta!

Yeah I double-checked with the GF. Eta is back for real. We also have 35 new founding fathers at Virginia Tech. Good to see the Alpha Phi chapter back strong. I'm told that Indiana and Colorado State will be recolonizing in the next few months. There may be a fourth school added to that list as well.

That is great news. We need to get back to places where we have an established alumni base, old houses, and a reputation. THEN, we can go to new schools. Afterall, we are not Sig Ep or TKE where they go to every university and community college in the US.....not bashing, just pointing it out.
