"What A Phi A Can't Get Enough Of...."
I remember way back in college (I graduated in '97), we used to have this chant that went like this...
An AKA is.... blah blah
...."what the Q's like, what the Kappa's love, what A Phi A can't get enough of..."
So my question is.... WHICH GREEKS DID YOU DATE IN COLLEGE, AND WHAT WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE?
Me, I was an Equal Opportunity Dater. I dated an Alpha, a Q, a Sigma, and a Kappa. To characterize each:
The Q: OK, I needed therapy after him.
The Sigma: we were friends first and friends afterwards.... a real gentleman.
The Kappa: I dated him in grad school and he treated me better than any man, before or since.
The Alpha: He had it GOIN ON!!!! (You know what I mean!)
(I know you all are thinkin' "what a freak!" Really, I'm not!)

Convinced,
I am glad to read this. I was just called all kinds of names by this sita last week when she found out that I was a Kappa. She was like they messed me up for life. I was like dang, thier greek affiliation had nothing to do with that. They were just f-up brothers. That could go for any Omega, Sigma, or Alpha.

P.S. You should have kept the Nupe, and had him work on his skills.

Soror, you are making me think of memories I would rather forget! **AKAtude giggles** I dated an Alpha, a Sigma, and an Omega.
The Alpha Man: He was the silliest; always had jokes. He is the only ex-boyfriend that I still consider a friend, and has never crossed the line.
The Sigma "Boy": NO COMMENT!
The Que "Dog": NO COMMENT!
The Kappa Gentlemen: Even though I never dated a Kappa, they always treated me like a little sister.

I've been in a relationship with an Alpha for 5 years (Beginning of my college career to the end) and we've managed to stay together through all these years. I must say he's truly a gentleman. Of course we have our ups and downs but I Love him.

Memories, light the corners of my mind....
Okay,
I dated this Kappa once, and he was good for/at some things, and not so good for/at others. But I will say this, one time I needed him to be down for me, I mean really needed him to be down for me, and he was there. He read the signs and he backed me up all the way. He was basically a good guy and typically showed me the utmost respect. And while I hate to be stereotypical, he did have a bit of an ego problem, though.
I dated this Alpha once. He treated me with the utmost respect, was good to me and looked out for me. He even tried to understand me, and at that time in my life, I didn't even understand why I was doing half of the things I was doing. It's been about 12 years since we've dated, and I've never had one bad thing to say about him, except that maybe he thought he knew everything, but what man doesn't. The Kappa for damn sure thought he knew everything. But I digress, what was the topic again......oh yeah.
My husband is a Mason, and I have to say that he is the best thing that ever happened to me.

I have never dated a man of Omega Psi Phi , BUT------I have dated a Q-DOG
(there's a differnce) and I wish I could have a "do-over". Currently I am dating a Kappa and he treats me very good. But sometimes we have Fights over who is the prettiest(Ha, HA, HA)
Since I'm still in College I have time to view all the Greek Men..

Truly, it takes a very special female to embrace the very essence of MANHOOD and the absolute STRENGTH of PERSEVERANCE I know lies within a MAN of Que Psi Phi!
Why or why do we have to go there with the q-dog epithets...
