Question working 2 jobs?

I'm just curious to know if there are any GC'ers working more than one job and how it's working out?

Like many people here know, I've been job-hunting since... January, and recently accepted a job with a radio station to work in promotions. It's an AWESOME job & I completely love it!

The only problem is, is that there aren't any real promotional stuff going on in the near future, so I pretty much have the rest of July off work.. but they did say things would get busy once football season got underway....

Rewind to yesterday.

A job I applied for about a month ago called me back for an interview today. I decided to go ahead and go.. there wasn't anything I would lose besides gas in my car. So I went, and they said they really want me. I applied for an associate part-time position, but they would really like me to jump right into a management position which is way cool, only problem is, is that all management positions absolutely must be full time. They did give me the choice of taking the full-time or just going with part-time though.

As excited as I am, this really couldn't have come at a worse time!! I'm less than a month away from formal recruitment, and as many of you sorority women know, gearing up for recruitment is a crazy time! When all summer long I've been sitting here hoping and praying someone would just hire me already!!!

I will be taking 12 credit hours in the fall (all of them finish before noon), and don't know if this would be possible to juggle 2 jobs, a sorority, *and* school!

So GC'ers, is this even worth considering?

Would this job get you farther than the one at the radio station? Which one will advance your career more?

I'd just stick to one of them. Balancing school and work is HARD.

I guess whether or not this job would advance my career more would depend if I join full or part time.

Part-time would just be like another job, but if I join as a part of their full time management team, that would definately help since I'm a management major (however I am in Operations management, which doesn't really have a whole lot to do with retail management)

I really like the radio station job because it is something I've always been interested in, and think I would enjoy a career working on the corporate side of the radio/entertainment world.

So I'm very torn!

I know working & school is definately hard.. I used to be a Resident Advisor my sophomore year which was practically a full-time position... but back then I was taking all sophomore/junior classes. Since I will be staring my 4000's this semester, I'm really worried because I hear those classes are harder
