The story in Star said that her dad did give his blessing. I remember hearing him on the radio last year and he had nothing but nice things to say about Jay.
As for the wedding, I believe it when the offical word come out (through B, Jay or both) and the pics are published in People.

She's legal (she'll be 25 this month)...so why/how is he a pedophile...
I do (from a friend of mine who is former promoter of his) know that he is a big player...he sleeps with many women or has in his past and then brags about it...Wonder if this "happy couple" is really "happy"

After just seeing that Ring the Alarm video...and yes I think she is talking about Jay-Z. I don't believe that they are getting married, or atleast that he proposed to her. I think she looks like the type to tell him that they are getting married, and he just go along with it for now, but if this is true I don't see them going through with it. I don't know here lately it seems like Jay-Z may be getting tired of Be"yawn"ce from all of the 'stories' of him and Rhianna and them getting into fights and all that good stuff....so I don't know...we'll see

Ok, I may look at it differently, but I just think that most people are trying to discredit their relationship. Beyonce looks happy. Jay looks happy. They appear to be in love. That's all people need to worry about. If they like it, I love it..... Why can't people just be happy when folks are in love? There is always some wild, cockamamie, UNSUBSTANTIATED story targeted to tear people down.
When folks start rolling through with some proof, then I'll believe it. Until then, I'll be looking for my wedding invitation.

Just saw the video on youtube.com and I think she's talking about HOVA. At one point she sings. "not the picture perfect story..." and throws up the Roc-A-Fella "diamond symbol".  And why are her videos in this nervous breakdown mode? I thought that she was quoted as saying that she was not going to be like Lauryn Hill and "snap". Hmmm...she'slooks like she's on her way. Lord, I hope she doesn't pull a Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes (r.i.p.) move and burn the man's house down! 
You know I had to rewind it because I thought she was throwin' up something else....
ETA: Don't you ladies of DST think that the "diamond" is a little too close to the pyramid? I remember when McDonald's came out with those chicken sanwich commercials and the people were throwing up the pinkies, I was like )

SUPPOSEDLY, the songs from B'Day are inspired by her DreamGirls' character. So, all of the unstable antics derive from her. I guess, if that's what she wants us to believe.
I dunno. I don't know why, but I've had this feeling that Jay-Z is on the other team.
